Okay, well I was thinking again (*sizzlesizzle*), thinking about my painting projects. I'm very random about what I paint and how I go about it...so I figured this would be a good spot to list everything I need to paint (theres a lot of it) and maybe make some kind of rough short term schedule to follow ( Read more... )

I've never really looked at Warhammer minatures in detail, but Lizard Men rock in general. I am predisposed to feel warmly towards anything called a Stegadon.

I had some of those old D&D lead miniatures that I painted when I was around 13 or so. I ran across them while visiting my parents over Christmas. Obviously, painting small delicate things was not my forte.

The best way to play Inquisitor is to use regular-size minis, rather than the special Inquisitor minis.
I know the big minis are nicer to paint, but you need to build all new terrain for them, they are 'spensive and difficult to customise once play begins. Wheras with the various multipart plastics, you can get up to all kinds shenanigans.

If you're going for an Adeptus Mechanicus theme, have you seen the new Techmarine piece? It is big with loveliness.

The other thing I would suggest you check out are the Warmachine miniatures from Privateer Press. Some of them would be very suitable. Mister linkie is www.ikwarmachine.com .
