"Hello, Alford," he replies, equally cheery. He glances back at the table at the human's apology. "This? Oh, that's alright, you haven't interrupted anything. I am merely ensuring that a certain stubborn Shinou remembers to at least eat once a day." The indulgent smile he has for Alarik turns thoughtful for a moment, and he cocks his head to the side, considering Alford.
"Would you like to join us for dinner? I think you and he got off to a bad start, so it might be a good chance to try again. It won't be any trouble at all to add a third setting." Murata looks at Alford, his expression open and hopeful. For some reason he's in a really good mood today, a state he hasn't been completely in for several days. Perhaps because for once, disaster of any kind has not struck. Well, at least not any that he knows about.
