6am: An early morning message.

He wakes early the next morning, surprisingly early for him. But when he fell asleep again after Alarik's return he had made sure to tell his body he wanted to be up earlier. He had things to do. [He stirs, eyes cracking open slowly to take in the sight of Edwyn curled close beside him, gilded by early morning light. The sun is fully up, the hour later than he had wished to rise. While the thought of lingering in the warmth of shared blankets is appealing, duty pushes pleasure aside.

He sits up, carefully detangling himself from Edwyn. A hand is carded through sleep-tousled hair, and he blinks at a noise from the open window. Squinting at the bird, he reaches over to lightly shake the figure at his side.]

Edwyn. Arise, dear one.

Someone is shaking him awake and he stubbornly clutches at the fading cling of sleep, refusing to give in. "Hnn, 's too early beloved." He bats the offending hand away, but the Shinou is persistant and Murata cracks open an eye to shoot the blonde a sleepy glare. "Fine fine, I'm awake....what's the ru-"

He follows Alarik's gaze to the window and sees the pidgeon sitting there preening its feathers. "Oh." He pulls himself from the warm comfort of the blankets and rises to retrieve the letter from the bird, absently handing it a few scraps of left-over bread from their late-night dinner. He breaks the seal and quickly scans over the letter. It seems their correspondance must have crossed, but Weller had answered almost everything he needed to know, so it was little cause for annoyance. The Raven would likely bring back more news, anyway ( ... )

Alighting on the still-open window of the Kin-friend's nest, she is disappointed to find the room empty. In a man-dwelling of this size he could be anywhere. But she is determined to do her job well, and things had seemed uneasy at the place she had been sent, this delivery must be important. Launching herself from the ledge she spirals down to find where more man-people are, maybe they can tell her where Kin-friend is. She finds herself outside a large nice-smelling room, lots of man-people are milling about everywhere. She croaks loudly to get their attention.

"Gekka." she croaks at one of the people. The maid startles at the request coming from a bird, but she knew ravens made good messengers. Now, they were all meeting in the Council Room, weren't they? She walks outside, beckoning for the bird to follow as she points at the tall windows of the Council room a few floors up. Krrykkah clacks her beak in thanks and heads off to the indicated windows.
