So, after well over a year of falling out of practice, I decided to pick art back up again, because I went through some of my old work, and went "Holy crap. I was.. good?" It's weird how a nice long span of isolating yourself from a work can let you come back and see it for what it is, not all the nitpicky things you think you could have done

If I were a more mature adult, I would spend a few months doing nothing but still lives and landscapes to improve my ablity to do backgrounds.

Wow! That's so awesome!!! I love the coloring and shading! My twin sister took all the art skills from me... I always wished I could draw. Wonderful work Gren!

i totally understand what you're going through. I haven't really done art in such a while, and when I look back at some of my works I go "wow...did i REALLY do that?" Its really hard to get back into the groooove. Art is really my thing too :D
