I figured as much as far as the constant croaks. Not she just kind of does it every time you do something to her, or she wants something done, but it's not a steady croaking beat anymore.
As far as being hard of hearing, I can catch her attention by rubbing my fingertips together (AKA getting twichy ears out of her) so if it's not up to par, it's still fairly good. I think she's just... fairly vocal. It might also be the age, which is why I've been contemplating the rename to Scabs. All things aside, she's fairly healthy right now, and on her way up. Just needs to stop chewing at her scabby bits. D :
