Thrift stores!

When I was out poking through one of my favorite thirft stores, I found tucked into a little back corner in a pen a Bernina serger for a whole thirty bucks. I just got it back from having it checked out at the local Bernina repair shop (seriously. they have stores that specialize in that and that only....) and the new machine has a clean bill of ( Read more... )

Teeeechincally it was priced at $29.29 I don't know where they decided 29 cents was the best choice. Its as if they were afraid someone would see $29.99 and say to themselves "Oh, no. That's exhorbantly high."

Sewing machines pop up pretty often if you keep an eye out. I have to resist the urdge to not buy an army of vintage singers.

AMAZING!! Just as amazing as when my bro found a fabulous guitar for 25 bucks. It was all the money he had at the time, but it was so great. Now...get those little coney spooley things!
