Maybe a winery makes wine but doesn't grow grapes. There's a winery in Frisco, the town next to Plano, and the owner told us he gets his grapes from Lubbock, TX. Maybe it's something similar for your place.
Hello! :) I like your answer, coz it would make a lot of sense... sadly I had a little walk around and picked up some leaflets which indicated that they did grow their own grapes. They had like a little walled garden for visitors to walk around, showing a couple of lines of each grape variety and giving information about how they grow best, what they're used for etc etc. And then one of the leaflets had a plan of the grounds, showing three or four large "fields" which are for the grapes.
Also, a little more local to you guys, all the places Lisa and I went in Frederiksberg called themselves winerys, and they have hills full of grapes. Where's Lubbock, TX? (Don't say "Texas" :P)
