I had to work later than usual tonight. Not that I'm complaining: it's the only night of the week I ever have to work late, and I don't always have to work late. But the body makes habits, you know? My body's habits are incompatible with managing somehow to sleep until 9am except on days where I don't have to get up at all ( Read more... )

Go to the doctor, get whatever tablets are prescribed. I'd suggest time off sick if you need it, but if you really can't do that, tell the doctor so. Or throw the "signed off" bit of paper away.
Yes, this would be a stupid thing to do, but I've done it myself in the past.

What she said. Especially if treating it now (while working, if necessary) means it doesn't get any worse and knock you out for longer later.

Yes, this. I'm on antibiotics for a sinus infection for the second time this year, but I can't say I like the alternatives.
