Oh man.

I watched 'Ju-On' 2am this morning. Never made it to bed.

You would find me downstairs curled up on the sofa with loads of pillows surrounding me. Note my eyes kept shifting up at the stairs. *Shudders* And that guttural throat noise... o,O ( Read more... )

i remember watching ju-on. i didnt dare watch the 2nd, but my cousin did
all of us (me, two cousins and their godbrother) were terrified of everything for a really long time.

What was really bad was when jadey went into her geeky mood and explained that hte clickly noise originated from japanese history. and since she scared the hell out of me, i'll scare the hell out of u.

apparantly once during a war, disease hit an army and wiped out most of hte people. the lord daimyo thought he might loose, but had a sudden idea. He had all the corpses donned with armor, and then made into puppets. Hence why teh japanese word for 'puppet' has the word for 'human' in it. He, of course, terrified his opponents with his legions of dead, rotting walking corpse soldiers. As the body rots, the muscle holding hte jaws together weakns, allowing the mouth fall open. A 'clicking' sound was heard from teh sound of the strings used to manipulate the puppets rubbed, stretched and knocked bones. I'm not sure if it's true... but damn it's scary.

Lol! That sounds awesome! Thanks so much for sharing that small bit of info. It makes more sense.

I seriously need more scary movies though. Very few scares me really. I think it's because those that scare me doesn't involve any music. Have you noticed? Silence is def the scariest and asian movies def have that kind of horror.

*luvs* Thanks again!

Scary movies scare me. Er... thats wat they're supposed to do.

YEa i'm a bit of a coward. I like action movies, if the story is good (like I enjoyed only the fighting scenes in pearl harbor, but i hated the movie)

Ever watch "Infernal Affairs"? It's action and the storyline is awesome
