This afternoon I finished the book "The White Masai" which I read in Spanish since it was a landed book by the mom of 2 of my students. The story was really good but the translation and the way the languages spoken were described was crap! Anyway, I read the book in 3 days and now I need to find something else because I devoure books these days...

Have you ever read "The Lovely Bones" by Alice Sebold? It's a sad story, so I don't know if it's something you'd be interested in. I know some people consider it kind of morbid. I suggest this book whenever I can. It's my favorite.

No, I haven't read it, I would look for it though. There are many little book shops that sell only books in English, they are used but usually very reasonable.

you should read 'the namesake' by junphar lahiri...it was a really well done book! ive been reading too much heavy crap lately...i am in need of a jackie collins.....ok im kidding...i also read james frey ' a million little pieces' now that was good!

If I am not going to the book shop later today I might go tomorrow, it looks so far like the heavens are going to open and start the second flood :/ But is Spain, you'll never know...

Heh I also have this problem with books sometimes. I don't want it to end so I read less per day hoping my reading will last longer that way ;)

I finished the pilot's wife couple of days ago, and literrally spend my time reading.. (you could have told me the bastard had another life..lol)..

I read the white massai a while ago as well. Kinda liked it !

I went to look for them but didn't find them, if I do I'll let you know. One is called Return from Africa I guess and the 3rd one is called reunion in Barsaloi (or whatever the village's name is)
