[Granny's voice sounds much fainter and older than her usual assertive timbre and the words don't sound as though they're meant for anyone but herself.]

[walking through the woods on his way to Granny's cottage, clutching a messanger bag with a few gardening tools in it, his hand on his wand, always rather nervous about going into the forest alone. His footsteps are heard stepping on fallen twigs and the autumn leaves scattered over the forest floor, and he's wrapped up in a thick coat and red-and-gold scarf against the chill]

[has stopped to lean heavily against a tree when the crackle, crunch, snap of someone walking through the forest who doesn't have any real practice at it reaches her ears]

Right.

[pushes herself up as though she is helping to keep the tree from falling over rather than vice versa and looks around until she spots the not-a-forest-creature shape of Neville and calls out not nearly as loudly as she'd prefer]

[pauses, frowning slightly, turning and looking through the trees to spot the black-clad figure of Granny Weatherwax. Brightens, starts heading for her, but as he gets closer, realizes something's not quite right; didn't she always seem taller than this?]

..Mistress Weatherwax? Are....[hesitates, wary of asking this, but forges ahead]..are you all right?
