actually i think i know what they are.
when i first read it i was thinking....tights that only cover the ankles??? what But then i realized she was saying from the top down to the calves. (yes seriously school has fried my brain)
And those I have seen b/c I used to wear them to ballet class and rehearsals when I danced all the time hehe. I'm sooooo ahead of the trends aren't I. ;)

Meowouch! I am willing to bet good money that she has at least a minor in Philosophy. I am all for debating life and it's purpose, but there is nothing more irritating than a Philosophy student-let alone an NYU one (who ironically bypasses the purpose of philosophy by being so damn pretentious!). They "know everything", therefore know nothing-fact proven by her desire to demand calf tights last worn when Reagan was in office for about 2 months. Shudder. Fear not Heathen, there is more culture on this coast than that. And we need to meet up and do tea when you get to NYC, I can hop the Metro North and have a face to match with the writing!
