The smell is the sticky kinda spirit gum used on the electrodes to hold them in place,it also is used to plug the nose when a breathing tube is in-you weren't imagining it- I know it well

I've been wondering what the smell was for the past (almost) year now, so thanks for that. Now I want to smell it on its own, just to make sure.
