hey, saw your post today in curvosity, but couldn't reply because I got cut or something. ANYways...I was wondering about your shirt in that first pic. Did you cut it off yourself? Where did you make the cuts??? -Kat
Which shirt? The Return Of The Living Dead one, or the Day Of The Dead one? For the DOTD one, I put it on, figured about how many finger widths from the shoulder seam I could cut so that it would still cover my bra straps, then cut the sleeves off. For the neckline, I figured out how low I could cut without it looking skanky, which was just above the screen printing. Since the screen print had an angle to it, I just cut with the angle so it would have a funky asymetrical look. Finally, I cut the bottom hem off, because I feel like the hem stitch in t-shirts is too clingy. I hack up pretty much all of my t-shirts, so long as they're not vintage.:)
The ROTLD one, I just trimmed the sleeves a bit, and gave it a scoop neck. It needs more snipping. The Indiana humidity is already too much to handle. I don't care to think about how bad it'll be in another couple of months.:\
I'll add ya' back, definitely. But be forewarned, I haven't updated in nearly 2 months. I do most of my blogging and whatnot these days over at the dreaded MySpace. http://www.myspace.com/amandahellcat.
I'll add you, but I've been letting everyone know that I haven't updated this in nearly 2 months. I do most of my blogging/bitching/whining over at MySpace these days.:) http://www.myspace.com/amandahellcat
