Death is omniscient in her canon. She meets people at birth, and from that point on, knows everything that they say, think, or do. Of course, this power has been filtered down considerably for game canon, so if you could fill out this permission post, that would help out a lot. You can go into as much or as little detail as you think is necessary

When and where were they born?: This isn't so simple to answer because Liquid's place of birth is canonically unknown and he was taken to England after it. He was born in 1972. The MGS novel, while non-canon, specifies a secret location in caverns in the southeast of New Mexico, which you may feel free to use.
Has your character died in their canon?: No, but he was only a short while away from it. He has the cause of his death in his blood - an engineered virus known as FOXDIE.
Has your character died while in the City?: No.
Has anyone particularly close to them died, whether in canon or in the City?: In the city, Otacon died. Big Boss died prior to his arrival, which may not count.
Has your character killed, whether in canon or in the City?: Canonically, yes; he's killed a ton of people and was ready to kill more. In the city... eh. Say he's killed a few on missions, but nothing personal.

When and where were they born?: She's sixteen/seventeen in 1782. So I'd put her year of birth at around... 1766? In Tokyo, Japan.

Has your character died while in the City?: No.
Has anyone particularly close to them died, whether in canon or in the City?: Why yes, in fact! Her father was brutally murdered in front of her and her mom was tortured and then killed later. This is actually what drives the impetus of the series and it was an extremely formative event for her. ALSO, she comes with history from a previous game where many people close to her died! She can't exactly remember most of them, but it still affects her. A lot.

What can Death 'know' about your character?: I'm fine with Death knowing about Rin's interactions with death and even a general spread of her past. If we can hash out the more specific details as threads ( ... )
