So, I'm not going to lie, I really enjoyed this issue. I thought everyone was in character and I think Ramos definitely improved on the art. I loved his Karolina this issue; I thought he did a fantastic job with her. The art was still a bit iffy in spots, but overall, an improvement. I liked the interactions with K/X and K/N. I also liked the cute Molly and Klara scenes scattered throughout the issue.
Interesting to see that the Majesdanes spend a lot of time in human form. Which I guess makes sense, I'd just always assumed that if they were that close to the sun they'd spend all their time in their natural forms. But it's cool. Female!Skrull Xavin was certainly a surprise, though I can't help but wonder if that's a mistake or not. I guess time will tell.
The evil DJ storyline bores me, not going to lie. I just can't get into it at all and I'm really not seeing the significance. But I'll cut Moore some slack on that and wait for the rest of it to play out.
The best part of the issue, I thought? Karolina slapping vaDanti. Because I so wanted to do the same thing right then.
