Psst, your coding is messed up - try editing and using the html mode instead of rich text, if that's what you were using?

As a fellow tattooed, writer, comic book and video game geek, I'm inclined to vote yes, but I'll hold off on voting until that's fixed.

Just some food for thought:

What are your writing accomplishments and what writing are you most proud of or do you enjoy the most, and why? What about books, don't just say you'll recommend to anyone, recommend to us!

I've been published in various local newspapers, but mostly I've just self-published a lot of things.
I enjoy poetry the most. It's what I'm best at, so I guess it's easiest for me. But also I'm just to the point like that.

And with books, it's different, because everyone has different tastes so I always recommend books based on the specific person.

Favorites are Catch-22 (Heller), To Kill A Mockingbird (Lee), The Great Gatsby (Fitzgerald), House of Leaves (Danielewski).
House of Leaves is a mindfuck and a beautiful one at that. I guess that's my only modern book on the list I gave, haha, and probably one of the ones that not a lot of people know about :)

You'd be surprised. House of Leaves is a favorite of mine.

And to be fair with the coding, since everyone is reaming you on that, I let it through, I honestly think you just screwed it up because you were using the wrong mode to post your application, all the html looked okay.

I think you're very cute, but I'm really not seeing enough from you about what you love and why you love it to really see geek from you. No, as well, sorry!

I'm inclined to vote no because you messed up your code and you don't seem to know what OCD is, both huge pet peeves of mine. I'll abstain until further information is brought to light.

OCD, obsessive compulsive disorder.
I wash my sheets every night after use. Otherwise I can't sleep.
I have to organize everything in size order- biggest to smallest. Video games, books, everything. Drives me crazy.

When I'm nervous I tap my foot or hand, and I have to do it in a certain rhythm- I can't just tap, it has to have some sort of order to it.

etc, etc, etc.

I've been using livejournal for a really long time and it used to be as simple as just putting in the lj-cut coding. I haven't used it in a while and just recently got back into it. So I'm not entirely used to the new formatting... not a cardinal sing in my opinion.

Oh man. A definite no.

1. That's not OCD. That's being anal. And even if it was OCD, that has nothing to do with geekiness.

2. The lj cut hasn't changed in years.

3. Laffs.

I won't abstain from my vote. Maybe if you made ONE coding mistake I could overlook it, but HONEY not this time. Plus photobucket practically writes the code for you, all you have to do is copy and paste. Not to mention all the other flaws that are in your application. Improper capitalization (or LACK thereof rather.) throughout the entire thing. Is the shift button really hard to miss? Once again if you did it once it's ok, but you did it throughout your ENTIRE application.

You also never got into your LOVE of things... I mean WHO WROTE "The Long Halloween"?.... JEPH LOEB! I won't argue with your tastes, that is an amazing graphic novel. But also part of being geeky is being PASSIONATE. Not writing a list of every geeky hobby you may have. But writing paragraphs and paragraphs of one thing that truly obsesses you not because you have to, but because you WANT to. I don't see that passion in here either.

so my vote is NO.

I posted it at 4 am and it doesn't show up right away. I just woke up, checked it, saw it was fucked up and corrected it.
