short answer: it really depeneds on how your dns is controled. if your hosting service handles your dns then it should be on the FAQ, in fact even if you have a dynamic service (i.e. noip) handle it it should be on their help section
me, myself.. I do my own dns, being a control freak I could easily provide you with the bind syntax to do this if your are listed as the authoritive nameserver for your domain.
I know this is vague... if you still need help email me (or IM me) with details for your host and such and we can work it out for you, noproblem...
