Congratulations!!! WOW. I'm a chemist and I know how hard it is to get one of those fellowships. OMG IS YOUR PICTURE GOING TO BE IN SCIENCE & ENGINEERING NEWS???? I will have to cut it out and post it on my fridge at work. ;)

I don't know. Do they usually publish pictures? The only information I have received from NSF thus far is the notification of the award, but it did mention that I would have to supply some materials for publication and certification, so perhaps that will include a picture.

... that would be so cool.

yeah they normally publish a pic of the person receiving the fellowships. it's TEH KEWLEST. ;)

Winning free courses at a local college based on my seventh grade performance on the SATs.

Also: starting college a year ahead of my high school class was pretty exhilirating.
