Whether or not you're a fan of Harry Potter, the fanbase is often so involved they put Trekkies to shame. On LJ for instance, you'll find plenty of fanfic communities, icon communities, RP communities, and all sorts of fanbase groups. Being someone who's trying to get into writing, I thought why not start a writing community about my favourite book

I am! And tha would be an awesome idea! If you're interested in reading, and will forgive the shameless self-pimp, I've got a character journal for Faelamor, steel_illusions which was a member of theatrical_muse until RL meant I stopped updating for a bit too long. I should poke the muse again and start writing for her. Also, a bit of femslash - Cloak And Dagger, probably the first ever Irvine based femslash.

Anyway, I'd love to see that happen, and be sure to let us know if you do create the group. I'd love to affiliate with you.
