Oh my gosh... i just bought a laptop... sweet

did you know dell lets you apply for a preferred user account... your own personal credit line... and it's automatic

i just applied, was approved for 1,500 dollars and bought a laptop for that much
in like 30 min... it'll be here in a week!

How did you apply....when I was 19 I applied and was denied because I wasn't 21.....grrrrrrrrrrrr :)

you go to their site and apply there... you have to fill out a personal info page and they run a credit check on you right then and there... no waiting for emails or anything. Really cool.

just be real careful w/ credit cards. It's all too easy to spend money that we don't have yet.

well yeah-i know HOW to, i just got my granny one with a $5000 limit (that took self control on my part----not to order stuff for me!) but i'm referring to the fact that you aren't 21 yet-and when i was under 21 they REFUSED me because of my age-you stinker! lol-but glad for ya that it worked out :)

You always talk about how you don't have any money and then you buy a laptop, that is confusing to me! I don't understand how you could do that whenever you want to move out of the house and stuff..even if you applied for a credit account. Hopefully you know what your doing! Be careful and be wise!

okay libby,
i think it's because i already have a credit report
it's all because of my insulin pump... i have it through some creditor, so financially i'm ahead of my years.

That and maybe they've changed their policy at Dell.com?

but otherwize... it's not a credit 'card' britt... atleast not yet. I can only use it on their site, and i've already hit limit. So for now, i'm done spending dell's money for a year and a half atleast.

and lindsay... i do have money, but i never have any that i haven't spend already, most of the time. This will just be more that comes out of my eating money.... no more food on wed/sun nights.
