What does it mean to dream? Not the literal explination, but... a more open interpretation. The purpose of dreaming, the philosophy. I am infinitely interested at the moment.

If you mean dreams while sleeping, some would say that it's because the human mind can't possibly contain as much information as we take in, and therefore...it leaks.

If you mean dreams and ambitions, perhaps it is because otherwise we would stagnate in our own mediocrity.
