The world turns, same as always...

Tell me, Discedo, what does the word "trust" mean to you?

Ask so that I might understand.

It's reliance on the integrity, strength, ability, surety, etc., of a person or thing.

So reliance and trust coincide?

Someone that I could talk to, without worrying that they would tell others.

Meaningless garbage.

Not a surprising answer in the slightest.

Hmph. And why do you say that?

the_icey_void May 7 2009, 22:27:59 UTC
It just seems like something a person like you might say.

I'm not entirely sure, if I'm honest. I don't know if trust is something that can be put into words; it's something that differs depending on the person in which trust is placed.

Overall, though, a lack of doubt. Although, that might be obvious.

Hmmm... I think my answer might be similar, but this is hardly surprising anymore.

Not particularly.

I have not been paying as careful attention lately... have you been well?

Trust is an extension of emotion, that changes based on feelings.

the_icey_void May 7 2009, 23:28:24 UTC
A frustratingly vague answer.

Were you looking for a more specific answer?

Perhaps. It is not needed.
