Despite having lived in California for so long, Chuck couldn't help but like the snow. This was the third year in a row that he'd gone through one of the island's unnaturally cold winters, and when he really sat down and thought about it, he was pretty sure he'd miss it when things went back to normal. Easy though it sometimes was to get bored around here, Sarah usually found something to keep herself occupied and the winter meant that she could count on a little more isolation if she wanted it. Today, though, she was content to come back to civilization (such as it was) and find Chuck. She never would have admitted as much to Casey, but she liked that some days she played at normal so completely, it seemed real.

"Is that... Does that snowman have a beard?"

"Snow Morgan, hellooo," Chuck said with a grin as he stood back to admire his handiwork. "What do you think?"

If he thought he could pull it off, Chuck might have tried to add a Guitar Hero controller to his masterpiece, but as it stood, he was pretty sure it'd turn out looking more like a tennis racquet or something.

Sarah pressed her lips together, too relaxed to pretend she wasn't trying not to laugh at him. "He's perfect," she said, circling around before looking back at Chuck, gesturing widely. "I mean, he's tiny and bearded. The resemblance is uncanny."

"Then my job here is done," Chuck said, then dusted snow off of his gloved hands. Well, he'd wasted about an hour at least.

"So, can you tell I'm bored? It's totally obvious, right?"
