I sprained my back, trying to dig up some dead grass. Basically, I hurt myself and it hurts. The x-rays didn't show any fracture, but the back seems to be hurting just as bad, even with the anti-inflammatories and soma. Ah, well, I guess it's another vacation. That's cool... Sleepyeyes has gotten herself noticeably knocked up again (argh) so she's too far along to get spayed... Silver's kittens still nurse a bit and Abu's not quite mature. So it's pretty much a waiting game for the vouchers, then fix Silver and Abu and wait until Sleepyeyes' kittens are at least 4 weeks old, then get them and get her fixed ASAP.

And Fluffy is an adorable little tyrant, I can't wait for you to meet all of them. :)

If it continues, insist on the big V&V--Valium and Vicodin. This worked for teh Noodle. Valium is only if it's spasming, though. Plus it makes you feel like you are IN OUTER SPAAAAACE

Yeah, Vicodin gives me panic attacks, and I couldn't work at all with the Valium (although they did mention it). It's a delicate balancing of sufficient pain relief so I can work through the pain, and sufficient sobriety so that I can work through the meds. Mainly it's just not going stark staring LOONEY while laying flat on my back for days on end! ;)

On a possibly related note, I met a very lovely lawyer-headhunter. Did I send you her info? I don't think I did. Not that you are necessarily moving anytime soon, but it's something to keep in the Rolodex.
