Hahahah!!!! I know!! I heard it on Roula and Ryan first this morning and just thought they couldn't said Edward right!! Fucking amazing. Stupidest name ever.

Do you remember a few years back when the African American community complained that storm names were "too white?"
This is probably what they were looking for. I guess we can expect, once the alphabet recycles again, Tropical Storm Anfernee.

I don't mean to piss all over your rant but Edouard is the French version of Eduardo/Edward/etc. It's perfectly acceptable, and I even know a guy named Edouard.

Take your anti-French remarks elsewhere. Or don't. Because French really is a messed up language, haha. Trust me.

You're darn right we don't live in France. As a matter of fact, Houston is barely in America anymore--more like Mexico ;-) According to a report on NPR, Houston has a Spanish-speaking majority now.
