Kundera. :) Though I like the fact that you only took the words and transformed his original idea.

This piece is well-written and says more through a few words than through a hundred (which is what makes a poem really).

I particularly loved

Marking off shoes
As if they are slippers
Marking the flesh
As if they are canvases



Write a book!

Dearest lia,

I didnt have Kundera in mind when I wrote this. I had Vonnegut in mind, especially after I came from a lecture written by him and delivered by his son (he passed away apr. 11) . I was going for absurdity rather than existentialism. Maybe Kundera was in me subconsiously -but Im afraid the words are original...One things for sure: theres one thread that binds kundera, vonnegut and this poem: that is disgust for civilization :P heheh. Oh which reminds me, I should start reading Kundera again.
