You are absolutely not off base. I'd be scared as hell too. And trust me, I don't think I'd ever sleep with my window open again. Let alone my blinds.

If you do manage to get a case number from the police tomorrow, I would take it upon yourself to report it to your rental company.

Invest in a rocket launcher. When I come home, I think I can wip up an additional protection spell that may bring bad luck to this guy or anyone else who gets too close to your window...
