Right. Looking back on my 'recent' entries, it seems that my last post to actually contain much content was in November. Shocking.

Obviously there's no way I can update on all the stuff that i've been busy with since then, and honestly it's probably not particularly interesting. So here's a potted summary. Yay lists!

Re Sky+ : I have a similar facility (but only with Freeview) with my MythTV setup. It's a linux box that basically does the same as a Sky+ box, only without the Sky stuff :-) I've found that my way of using TV has slowly changed. I can set things to always record whenever they are on, and keep the last x episodes, or keep all, or whatever... the net result is that I record anything that I *might* want to watch, in the knowledge that not watching it doesn't matter, and I never just turn on the TV to see what is on any more - there's always something recorded that I'd like to see.
