A nicely written story with well developed characters. :) It doesn't really seem to have anything at all to do with Stargate Atlantis though. They're really original characters with borrowed names. :\

It's an AU fic.

True, but there's AU which takes the characters and basic universe and spins off events differently than the canon universe, but John is still John, Rodney is still Rodney, etc., and the basic rules of the Stargate universe apply. Then there's AU that is really original fiction with borrowed names.

Still, you write well. :)

That's really more Alternate Realities. In the_library_au John is still John, Rodney is most definitely still Rodney. This is really back story for Sheppard in our little universe. Plus he's still John, but with angst, lol.
