[Cassandra] The Eyes of A StrangersinanjuMarch 19 2009, 17:47:29 UTC
It was rather a tight fit getting all four of them into a jeep with a driver but they managed. Chloe sat on Xander's lap in the front passenger seat, with one arm around him for stability. Cassandra was well aware that they were sleeping together occasionally but despite their relationship, Chloe didn't make a production out of it. Faith would likely have made ribald comments, her posture and demeanor aimed at provoking a reaction from Xander as well as the driver. Chloe didn't, though Cassandra saw the driver giving Chloe frequent admiring glances

[NPC Dr. Robinson, Intern]lost_mckayMarch 19 2009, 18:26:48 UTC
The young woman looked fresh-faced and eager, and as she stepped forward, the nurses behind her smirked, full in the knowledge that the young intern would learn, and soon enough. Maybe not now, but one day, that perhaps it wasn't always better to go forward and reach out... one never knew what would be received

He scanned the guests, proffered a tired smile then spoke softly. "Don't worry, they're really rather ... Gentle."
With that he turned for the few steps to cubicle two. It wasn't time to sleep, his stay would be too brief for that, but an hour or so off his feet would be welcome enough.
~Just close my eyes for a moment, Lan. Wake me when I'm needed...~
[Keller] Exam Room Twolost_mckayMarch 21 2009, 00:52:41 UTC
With Cassandra taken care of, Dr. Keller knocked on the door of Exam room two, calling out, "Captain Boone," quietly before opening the door. In hand, obviously routine, a copy of his abbreviated medical file. She stepped in and twisted to close the door behind her with a slight *click*.
"Captain Boone?" She approached with a smile to see that he'd closed his eyes in rest. Reaching out to touch his arm to check on him, she checked the Tok'ra visually. Breathing normal, color was good--
The Tok'ra smiled a little and opened his eyes. "I am sorry, but he has been awake for nearly two days. We were trying to rest when the call came in to investigate the new ship."
He proffered an arm for either blood or blood pressure tests. "I hope you are well? It has been a long time since we have seen you."
"Ah--" The young doctor started, not from surprise of the man's movement, but simply, Jennifer wasn't prepared. With that out of the way, she smiled and nodded, "I see. Yes, probably best if he did sleep." Gesturing in a general wave towards the door, her brows rose, "I can put this off until he catches up?" It was a little wierd working with a host that was asleep and a symbiote that was awake. Her experience with 'aliens' was more reserved for the 'suck the life out of you' type than the 'symbiotic snake' type

[Cassandra] Exam ThreesinanjuMarch 19 2009, 21:12:04 UTC
Cassandra followed Dr. Robinson to Exam Room Three. There, Dr. Robinson turned Cassandra over to the nurse waiting for her and left, telling Cassandra that Dr. Keller or Dr. Beckett would be along shortly. Robinson closed the door as she left. Cassandra heard her telling Chloe, "You'll be in Exam Four right here
( ... )
A knock came at the door before it was opened slightly, the sound of a young woman's voice calling through, "Ms. Sugarbaker.." before it was opened fully. With chart in hand, the young doctor, couldn't be more than 35, held the chart in one hand and once inside, closed the door with the other. A smile was on her face, one of greeting that reached the eyes, and introduced herself. "I'm Dr. Keller
( ... )
Cassandra endured the light in her eyes with good grace. "No, I feel fine," Cassandra said. "I'm never sick," she added truthfully. She might have added that she was sterile but didn't. She didn't want an overzealous doctor trying to determine the cause.
Dr. Keller continued the exam, peering into her ears and into her mouth and throat. She took Cassandra's temperature and repeated the blood pressure test and checked her pulse. Listened to her heart and lungs while Cassandra breathed slowly and deeply. All the usual things.
OOC: No, there's nothing unusual about Cassandra's physiology. Unless you catch her healing ridiculously fast, she seems to be a perfectly normal woman in her mid-20s. A very fit, very athletic woman--but normal.
[Keller] Exam Threelost_mckayMarch 20 2009, 00:29:01 UTC
The doctor completed the physical portion of the exam, nodding briefly before she returned to her file notes. Jotting notes into the margins of some things, on the lines for the other, it was quick

[Chloe] Exam Room FoursinanjuMarch 19 2009, 21:25:41 UTC
Chloe's nurse was named Eric. He was not much more than Chloe's (apparent) age and quite fit. Chloe exchanged greetings with Eric after Dr. Robinson left her alone with him

Well no one had to go far to find Dr. Beckett, considering he was asleep in his office. He was off after all, at least until time came around for the night shift. Of course all that changes when an Ancient ship lands.
Since the man had only recently been woken up, he looked a little on the rumpled side when he entered the exam room, cup of coffee in his hand. He glanced briefly at Chloe before he spoke, "Hello lass, my name is Dr. Carson Beckett and I assure ye that we will try and get ye out of here as quickly as possible. I apologize for any poking and prodding, but its routine. We want to make sure that ye aren't sick, and ye won't be passing anything to anyone else."
He reached over and picked up the chart that Eric had made his notations on and reviewed it, "Well ye seem to be an incredibly calm sort from the readings. Do ye happen to know anything in yer medical history that we should be aware of? Allergies or what not?"
"Oooh, coffee," Chloe said when Dr. Beckett entered the room. It smelled good. But then, coffee always smelled good.
It didn't always taste good--there were so many ways coffee could go wrong, though most of them boiled down to slapdash preparation. Keep the machinery really clean, don't reheat the coffee too often, and you could produce excellent coffee from even mediocre grounds. Do any of those things badly and--voila! The legendarily bad coffee of police stations, newsrooms, hospital break rooms and other areas where nobody had the time or inclination to do it right.
But even bad coffee smelled good. Chloe wondered how Beckett's was. Just looking at him Chloe could see a man who'd swallowed endless cups of bad coffee in her career for fear of falling asleep on duty. Even if the coffee was really bad, he'd still be drinking it
( ... )
Carson looked down at the cup in his hand, "Oh, aye. I live by the stuff. I'm not as bad as Rodney..." He waved that off and stepped out, grabbing a nurse, "Helen, lass, could you grab me another wee cup of coffee. Thank you luv."
Carson stepped back in the room, "Well we live to serve. Helen will bring ye a cup and then come and take a few blood samples, since yer vitals have already been taken. I dinna see a problem from all I am seeing so far."
Carson does walk over and pick up light, "But while we wait, we will just test a few things, Aye?" Carson flicked on the light and shined it in Chloe's eyes, checking the response, "I must say that ye have quite lovely eyes lass. Verra unique." The next tests are routine as well, checking reflexes and the like.
It isn't long before Helen returns with a cup of coffee and the fixins, "Just let Helen take yer blood and the coffee is all yers." A few notations are made on the chart by Carson, but basically he steps back to let the nurse work now.
[Xander, Faith] Exam Room SixfikgirlMarch 20 2009, 17:24:32 UTC
"I don't want to go alone," Faith clutched at Xander's arm, large hazel-brown eyes widening with feigned fear. She pressed into him, giving just enough stutter and waver to her voice to drive home how little she wanted to be alone. "Couldn't I just go in with Xander? This has all been just so ... overwhelming, you know, and I really don't want to be alone." Large eyes turned pleadingly to Xander, "You don't mind do you? I'll close my eyes and not look."
And the Oscar goes to . . . Xander thought. He could barely maintain eye contact in the presence of Faith's suddenly-demure and dependent damsel role. This from the woman who marched boldly into the colony as our spokesmanRumors may have traveled fast, but that rumor hadn't reached Dr. Robinson yet if her softening face and sigh of sympathy as she looked at Faith were any indication
( ... )
Carson finished with Chloe, and headed for the next exam room. He took another sip of his coffee, even though by now it was growing cold. He stepped in, expecting to find only one person, and was instead confronted with two. His brows furrowed a moment, "Well either I have gotten less sleep then I thought and am seeing an odd form of double, or there are two of ye."
Carson shook his head and headed over to create new files, "My name is Dr. Carson Beckett. I'll be doing yer exam. It's just routine, nothing t' be worrying about. We just want t' make certain that ye aren't carrying anything."
Carson paused a moment, "So, first I will be needing names, and then if ye can recall anything about yer medical history that would be pertinent that would be most helpful. I'd like t' make this as quick and painless as possible, Aye?"
"Hello, Dr. Beckett," Faith greeted the doctor with a purr that only she could have managed: part greeting, part appreciation, and part invitation all rolled into one. "I'm Faith, as in 'gotta have,'" Faith tossed the doctor a wink and a sultry smile
( ... )
Yes Carson has seen many sets of breasts in his career as a doctor, but he's never had someone strip without being asked, which causes him some measure of... well surprise. Carson blinked at the display, then blinked again, flushing a nice bright red. For several moments, he appeared to be stunned into complete inaction
