Look at it this way: At least you didnt screw yourself over on the opposite end of the spectrum. You're graduating on time, which is something I can't claim.

No misses out on life, people live it everyday. Only a person that end up no where claims they missed out on life... look back on everything thing that has happened to you up to this point; Are you going no where

I think that the time you spent was not a 'waste'. It may not have been the ideal, in-your-mind-perfect way of spending time, but you have made a ton of accomplishments through those extracurriculars that you should take pride in. As to friends, I don't think that you are a loner, nor are you overly shy; and the Freshman class is pretty cool, I'll agree, and they won't be snobby if you try and get to know them during the time you've got left.

There are many times I feel the same way as you do...feeling like I'm always missing out on something, that people are enjoying life without me or that I never have enough shared interests with people to hold a conversation longer than 2 minutes.

I've been there, Kelly, and I only hope you remember that I am also a friend to you. And I'll always be here should you need.

If you ever forget that...well...I'll just have to kidnap you for awhile and MAKE you remember ;-)
