i have fond memories of listening to this while driving home from grocery shopping. it's a memory of a very specific part of a road i drove a lot. so weird.

That band, along with Ted Leo, remind me of a time where I was really upset that all m favorite Lookout Records bands were pretty much done and the label had moved on.

Though eventually I ended up liking them both.

haha that's how i felt about ted leo too! i never hear them so they never grew on me but ok apartment felt fun at the time. and since that was in washington, fun was a rarity.
lookout wouldn't even give my husband a copy of his own records so now i just think they are dicks.

they were called black cat music. he was on the first 3 albums i think. 2 or 3. then we had a baby and it made him not want to leave on tour and stuff.
