Is it just me, or is it getting busier around here? I suspect that people have finally decided they've had enough of Facebook's manipulation and censorship and they're returning to the place where true, lasting friendships are made and there's meaningful communication, no stupid algorithms and no censorship. It absolutely is! I can't tell you how much I value comments and interaction. It lifts my mood and improves my day.

I am *so* not a fan of that rubbish.

Totally understand where you're coming from, and also do miss the legacy internet, aka when this place was hopping, and other such sites that no longer exist. Focused on cultivating actual relationships with real people, versus being a mindless product and consuming people in an algorithmic haze.. It really does a number on people. I finally nuked the FB account a few years ago, and tried to contact a few folks I'd interact with on the daily, for years - guess what? only friends with one of them, out of a "friends" list of 1600 people.

None were ever really friends, save one.

anyhow, I write fairly often in my journal, if you'd like to add me that's cool, and vis a vis, I'll read you when you show up in my friends page, I'd like to add some journals that are actually doing something, as well.
