I know what you mean between work and home computing.

When I go home I check to see if I have any IMs, then go play video games.

I have no interest in sitting on my computer at all.

There's a few factors that add into this, for the most part I just got sick of sitting in front of a computer all day at work and then going home and sitting back down in front of it again. I just can't sit in front of my computer at home some days without getting annoyed.
