I've noticed that when ever my room mate wants to bring something to my attention, he does it so that my first reaction is to piss me off. Whether this is intentional or not I do not know. He needs to learn tact and empathy. Granted these are two skills that most of my peers do not have or even aspire to attain, he needs them most. I am leaning

maybe you should try talking to him instead of posting on lj.

and if you think he's just going to be an ass then, try saying "listen we need to talk"

and if he thinks you're the ass for doing this instead of talking to him, then don't be surprised.
