I will try my best to see Narcissus, but have been informed that my windows are coming early Thurs morning, and I have to get all the blinds and curtains down. Gulp. Am also concerned that the windows may be holding the house up and then I'll be left with rubble when they come out.

Most houses are indeed supported by the windows. I couldn't think of a more structurally sound way to construct a house.
My parents were furious that time when my free-kick went a little too high and broke a window, causing the house to fall down.

Narcissus arn't even on late. I'm afraid you are indeed being outrageously middle-aged.
