Well, having a small house with only two bedrooms tends to leave them with no option, BUT even if they had one they would still share a room since their parents are all about brotherly love and completely oblivious that just maybe they should have separate rooms ^_^

No, no. They aren't blood related brothers. If you look into the 1st chapter, they are introduced when they are 11 years old. Their parents remaried so they are brothers only because of their marriage XD
