He sat there in the classroom and stared at the piece of paper on the desk in front of him. There were a few words scribbled on it here and there. The top of it read "Violence Is Not The Key." It was an assignment that he was given to by his teacher. A form of punishment for beating up two underclassmen. He was supposed to write an essay on how violence never solved anything. He shook his head and tapped the eraser end of the pencil against his lower lip. "This is stupid." He murmured and looked up from the paper.
The detention hall was quiet until he heard a knock upon the door. One of the students whom Elliot had yet to meet, walked in and the teacher who was supervising asked her to watch the students while he went to deliver some documents to the office. The student nodded and the teacher left the classroom. Elliot leaned back in his seat with a smirk. The Nightray had a reputation of being an arrogant bastard. True, he was a straight A student, but he had a reputation of being a jerk because he was so blunt at times and had a bad temper.
