Wherever you were, wherever you'd hoped to be, this is definitely not it. In fact everything about this room seems wrong, from the slightly cooler temperature to the thin layer of mucous on the walls. The fact that none of the lights are working either is also a damn good sign that things have gone damn bad. Everything about this room should scream "run away" and yet there is that strange urge to investigate. Common sense is overridden, curiosity is intrigued, and who doesn't want to delve into mystery?
That's just the pheromones taking effect; don't mind them. In the dim light there is, at the far back side of the wall, however, is something unusual, weird, and maybe just a little disturbing: it would appear to be a large, pulsating... thing. Hulking and intimidating, the massive monstrosity looms over all who enter the chamber, and it possesses several thick, wet and sticky tendrils that also do a damn fine job of looming. In the center of the mass, hidden by intersecting plates that only now are unlocking and opening up, are two large, reflective compound eyes and wicked looking mandibles.
It's like something out of a nightmare, or perhaps a pleasant dream, if you drift into that kinds of fucked-upedness. It's also now quite active, having sensed warm prey: you.
Its tentacles are fast, quite fast, and they've just swooped down toward you.

For information on the pregnancy: the creature will lay about four to ten tennis ball-sized eggs in its unlucky host, and these will slowly grow to about softball sized or larger before needing to be 'laid' by the host! And guess what makes those eggs grow faster? Greater warmth and extra nutrition! In other words, more sex with others, or continued sex with the beast! Spread the fun! And if you really wanna know what the larvae look like after those eggs hatch, well ... you ever seen these before?
