Sadly, we must bid a fond bon voyage to inimitable Ricardo Montalbán. I did not realize he was Mexican, but I should have been tipped off by his name. He always played men of class, from the pitchman for Corinthian leather to Khan Noonien Singh. His class also shows in the fact that he was married to the same woman for 63 years

In the dictionary, the definition of suave should be his picture.

That man had class, charisma and suavity in spades. In addition to the other accomplishments Montalban was very active in the Latino arts community. Truly a good man.

His loss is even more compounded by the passing of Patrick McGoohan on the same day. Quite a harsh day for sci-fi fans.
