*cheers madly* That was absolutely brilliant. One of the most heart-warming and original fix-it fics that I've ever had the pleasure of reading. Thank you, seriously thank you, for sharing this wonderful, poignant story. And now that it's over, I'm both sad to see it end and happy for the extremely happy ending. Thank you again!

But in the grand scheme of things, it didn't matter - not really.

Because Donna Noble was home.

Awww! And that's a perfect ending.

Mind you, you still made my heart ache for him with that description of the aching loss and guilt on his face and in his eyes. How could Donna slug him one after that? But of course she can, and of course she did ;)

She's back where she belongs, and the Doctor is happy again. Though now he'll really have to do domestic!

Lovely story, with great characterisation and some very clever plotting. Well done!

Ah, there always has to be the angst. xD He did look so utterly depressed at the end of S4, I felt I sort of had to acknowledge it. Plus, it pretty much screams Doctor when he's angsty. ^^

And yayz for the happy ending, all around! :D

Yay! Donna's back where she should be. If only we could have something like this in canon--I'm going to miss her so. Ten needs his best friend back. I loved this, just loved it.

I started reading this fic around chapter five (I didn't notice that it wasn't the 1st chapter, really!) and read it straight to the end. This Fic is brilliant. I can't stop grinning! My face hurts and I'm missing sleep, but I don't really care because reading a wonderful, non-romance, non-angst fic is so worth it. Thank you!

Lol, I do that all the time - start reading fics halfway through by mistake, I mean. xD I'll make a chapter listing to make it easier to navigate. :)
