He was more the Doctor now than any time before, when he was trying to convince her of his truth with empty words and painted smiles.

Wow. I never thought of it like that before but you're right and this gives me real hope for them. A delicate, beautifully detailed and observed story.

I tried to end it on a hopeful tone - because no matter what I say, it is the Doctor and Rose after all, and they deserve a happy ending! ^.~

good job. You handled 10.5 well. It's like the doctor gets to rest now, no more running. A very good way of making them work.

Oh that was heartbreakingly beautiful :(

You know this pairing now makes me think of that "A love triangle made for two" tagline from the Lois and Clark series... 10.5 = Ten, same man. But I can see Rose having problems grasping that at first.

This was a lovely and very original take on the situation.
