"Good Morning Mouse," Trudy was a bit more chipper than she had been when she'd woken up, glad now to see someone show up for breakfast. She had begun to think that no one was going to wake up this morning, and that
all of this food would be wasted. At least they had refridgeration, so the fruit could last a bit longer, but still, for her to get

"Good morning Trudy. Good morning Mouse. No one else is up yet? I thought it sounded quiet."

"Morning Trudy, Mouse, Patsy." She tried to smile brightly at the trio gathered around preparing breakfast. Fresh fruit sounded pretty good to Anna. They never had nearly enough fresh food when they'd lived in the woods, and it was nice that the mall had a better selection of food. They'd walked in on the tail end of Patsy's comment. "Its not usually this quiet in the morning?" Anna tried to remember what it had been like the first morning after they'd arrived. The day seemed very far away to Anna.

As Lex entered the extra cafe he frowned and scoffed at the sight of all the young girls jabbering away. Of course..of course there wouldn't be a chance that I could have some peace and quiet while I eat...figures. Lex tried to pay as little attention to them as he rushed over to what he suspected was breakfast, on the counter. Pffftt..so this is breakfast eh? Bird food? I think Trudy's ( ... )

He was overly chipper, he knew that, but he felt good and that seemed like a rarity these days. After finishing half of his bowl because he was starving, he glanced up around the table and stopped his fork halfway from his mouth. Slowly putting his hand down, he let out a nervous laugh. "Don't mean to be rude. Did anyone else want a bowl?"

Taking a bowl and filling it, she glanced back to where he'd gone, sitting with his sister and Moon, but he'd only taken two bowls with him. Serving herself, and then an extra bowl, Patsy followed Kerry and placed a bowl in front of Moon, with an extra fork, and snagged another chair from the nearby table. "Mind if I squish in here?" Patsy didn't need a table, she'd do just fine, it was a cold meal. She set her chair back a bit, between Moon and Kerry, "So, what've you guys got planned for today?" Her mood was light, chipper, and she smiled at the others to express this before taking a bite of a rather yummy breakfast.

He turned to look at the cause and found Patsy wedged between him and Moon. He squeaked out a "No" to her question and then occupied himself with chewing so he wouldn't have to answer the second one. Although he'd sorted all his thoughts out, the presence of Patsy made him weak and that's when he said stupid things... or had makeup fights. A slow smirk made its way onto his face.

Jay made straight for the bowl of fruit, helping himself to a portion. "Good morning Trudy," he said in as perky a morning voice as he could manage. He glanced around the room again, trying to decide where to sit. Not with Lex, and not with the girls, they were just too perky and shrill for first thing in the morning. "How are you doing?" he asked, turning back toward Trudy with a little smile.

Squeezing Amber's hand with his own, Bray led her towards the counter where the food was. Fresh fruit! It was only recently that fresh produce was becoming easier to come by, so it still seemed like a real treat. A far cry from the measly tins of beans that had constituted every meal at one stage. Bray grinned as he addressed his son, "Hey look little guy, we have fruit for breakfast!", eliciting a happy chuckle from the small boy.
Bray then heard Jay's voice, "Good morning Trudy." and suddenly his heart sank into his stomach as he remembered the conversation from yesterday. Trudy... was she really going to take Brady away to live with the Ecos?

Amber was pleased that they had fruit for breakfast, it was great to eat fresh food and it was something she was more than happy feeding to her son, though of course she would no doubt have to mush it up first. Then again, that was something Bray could certainly do. It was strange, this getting used to having Bray back. Her head knew that he was here and that he more than wanted a part in their son's life, though Amber had gotten in the habit of coping on her own, and habits were hard to break.
"Shall I go and get some food?" She asked, squeezing his hand to get Bray's attention. "If you want to get settled with Bray, I'll bring some bowls over."

"Huh?" Amber was looking at him intently with her purposeful eyes, and he knew she'd just said something - but what was it? He blinked a few times, and eventually his brain finally caught on to what Amber had said. Bray nodded in reply, and carried their son over to where the high chair was.
Putting baby Bray in the seat, Bray sat down on a chair next to him, looking across the room to where Amber was getting some food. His expression softened automatically as his eyes took in the familiar curves of her body, following the way she moved - he knew he needed to think straight today but how could he?

The table where Willow sat seemed a little cramped with Kerry, Patsy, Moon and Willow. Mouse opted for a table in the middle and she slide onto a seat. Forking up a peice of fruit, she shoved the entire peice into her mouth. It was really juice and so sweet it was like candy. "Mmmm," she said with a bigger grin.
