Damage done to random bit-character before the thing starts:

Two (2) broken arms
Two (2) perforated or otherwise injured eardrums (don't know enough about ears to figure it out, and she's not telling)
One (1) set of bruised or otherwise mistreated vocal chords, making me think that Libris must've strangled [the bit-character] somewhat because that's the only way I know to get one's larynx to feel like that*

Damage done afterwards:

Um, excuse me? She ends up splattered on the walls somewhat. I didn't get many details -- I don't want to know. All I know is what one could've guessed: whatever it was was interesting, exceedingly painful, and done while [the bit] was still alive.
