ENRAGED SKULL. Dragon and phoenix strike me as trying too hard, and ravens are cute, but could come off as emo.

My school's mascot is either a rainbow or a large, intimidating native Hawaiian face painter guy. I can never tell which, but the guy is definitely the more prominent one at football games.

Why not combine them all? A flaming skeletal dragon, with a snake coming out of one eye, and a raven coming out of the other (maybe eating the snake) is clearly the best option.
