Actually, it hasn't, for the most part. The mid-Atlantic and Southern states have in some cases seen snow, but New England*? Nada. Nihil. Rien. We got rain the day before yesterday - blech. (It is December; we're supposed to be pretty & white, not dull, gray, and wet.)

I was counting DC - and NJ, where S is bound today, and NY and PA, etc. - as part of the northeast. 'Cos even if it ain't there yet, there's a winter storm a-brewin' for the entire east coast. Or so the weather dude said yesterday.
NJ, NY, PA (aka, the "Mid-Atlantic")are part of the Northeast US along with New England, yes... DC no way. You're south of the Mason-Dixon Line there. ;P
(And I take back my earlier complaint about the unseasonal weather - it just started to flurry - whee!)
