Yeah, I like the Jekyll/Hyde notion and that it's not even about being in the closet (which even Kurt might consider sensible while still in high school in a town like Lima), but that Puck is such a bullying dick to him and thinks that that can be forgiven. 'Discreet' is one thing; 'overcompensating' is another and Kurt does deserve better.

That was what I was going for. Kurt knows they can't come out to everyone, but he wants to be able to tell his best friend why he's blowing her off etc. I'm glad you liked.
