I'd just treat the new ending as if it were from a different iteration of the Matrix, involving a different One.

Well I can only assume its probably the same ending, only in Neo's perspective so we can get a better understanding of what exactly happens. I've never played matrix online, but I did see that screenshot of all the Agents that looked a lot like Neo.

I'm not sure if the game is PS2 exclusive or not so if you have other systems maybe you wont have to buy a PS2. But if you do I would say its a worthy purchase due to all the other great games on it :)
