A cautionary tale

I watched a film on TV the other day without bothering to check the IMDB score first. Let my error be a lesson to you all.

It's called Motherhood, and stars Uma Thurman as a woman living in Manhattan, with two apartments and two kids attending school & daycare. One of the apartments is used exclusively for typing blog posts and is hence known as ( Read more... )

The mention of Minnie Driver would be enough to put be off - as aside from Gross Pointe Blank and her role in Will and Grace I cannot stand her.

I often have moments of 'did I watch the same film as everyone else?' though when people are raving about things and I'm sitting there thinking watching paint dry would be more fun.

I'm surprised it only sold 11 cinema tickets when released in the UK.
